Title: Need help with mach 3

Hi guys,
I've got a problem that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere.
When you load your code on standard mach 3 and press start my machine moves the Z axis up 20mm to a safe position before travelling down to proceed with the cut.
Problem is I want to run a job which needs all the Z height I can get and I want to change this initial travel to 2mm or so?
Is this possible?

Hi,
can you post the first part of the Gcode... it may be that your code calls for the move that way and it has nothing to do with the safe Z
settings.

Safe Z settings are Config/Safe_Z_Setup
