Title: G-Code Question
Post by: cjshea on August 24, 2017, 08:43:00 AM
Hi All,

I am using a homemade CNC machine that is using a separate stapling machine to staple the moving work piece. The stapling machine, once activated using M11P1 will run continuously until M10P1 turns it off.

My issue is at the end of each move there is the slightest delay from when the work piece stops and the m10 stops the stapler which causes the stapler to staple the same place twice. It is not feasible for me to staple one at a time.

Is there a way that i can turn off the stapler slightly before the work piece is finished its move?

Thanks

There was an issue with operation of the M11/M10 commands that was fixed from version .057 onwards.

Download and install (over the top of your existing installation) version .062 ftp://anonymous:guest@ftp.machsupport.com/Mach3/Mach3Version3.043.062.exe (ftp://anonymous:guest@ftp.machsupport.com/Mach3/Mach3Version3.043.062.exe)
No settings should be lost but make a backup of your existing Mach3 folder (just in case).

Hi,
most generic Fanuc posts seem to work with Mach3, whether 4th and 5th axes change the situation I don't know.
