 im having trouble getting the limits switches to work even on a bench test ,,, dont know what im doing wrong!     ???

Hi Wes,

You need to connect the 12 to 24 Volt power source (which powers the opto-isolators) to get Inputs (and Outputs) to work on that breakout board.  ;)

Thanks Tweak that worked, however i have been running this Bob in my old cnc for over a year with no limits and no 24v or even 5v and it still works :S lol

Here is another problem im having ,,,    i am in the final stretch on this build and im having the problem where i cannot get my slave to move with X while homing... please see my video ,,

Sorry, can't be of any help with the homing, it's something I have never used.

What version of Mach3 is that?
You edit the homing script in Mach3, not the screen editor.
Operator > Edit Button Script, and click the button.

Do you have two home switches, one for the master and one for the slave? If so, make sure in General Config, that "Home Slave with Master" is not checked.
