I know i have seen this answered before, but haven't been able to locate it. sorry for the repitition. But, when i set the motors, and use the jog buttons they work fine, i have set them a little slow for what they can run. when i save and go to the main screen and jog from there or try to run simple program, they are running way to fast and skip pulses,......i have changed the absolute, incremental, i/js and no help....you have a good forum, lot of good people. I am glad to be associated with it.

ok, I am very new to this, and don't know what the "xml" is. do you need the g-code? Thanks, Lee DaMet

It sounds as if you have the jog rates set below 100%.
If you press the TAB key you can set the jog rates on the fly out to 100% and then retune your motors.

No problem.
Watch this tutor, just click on the link. The xml file is in your Mach3 folder. It will be what ever profile you are using. Mach3mill.xml for example.

Brett think you need to do a new video tutor, this time on how to avoid double posting (http://forums.pcper.com/images/smilies/extras/yllol.gif)
Edit
Get the tutor done instead of just deleting your double post ;)

hope this helps, Brett.

I don't have the drivers on my office pc, so its a little hard to tell. One thing i noticed right off is the step and direction pulse length in motor tuning. They are all set to 0. Try setting them all to 5 and then try a jog move. Notice the units/min. DRO, It will tell you how fast the axis should be moving. Even if it is skipping steps, the dro will tell you how fast Mach is telling the machine to go.
