Title: One side of X axis not in sync with opposite side. Jerky movement
Post by: CSMG on July 11, 2017, 12:46:22 PM
All, the X axis appears to be jerky. 1 side is smooth, opposite side is jerking trying to catch up. Unuseable at the moment, any ideas where to look?

Thank you
Mike

is it a mechanical issue or an electrical issue?

what is your setup?

has it been previously working?

Thanks for the reply. I don't know yet. This is the first time that this has happened.  I am going to take the coveres off and take the steppers off to see if they spin freely.   While it is on the machine and in place,  it is acting spuratic.
I will see what is happening and write back.

I'm having the same issues with my Y axis. I don't know much about my machine, but if I'm experimenting with my MOTOR TUNING to see if that helps. I wish i could be a better help, good luck!
