Title: Strange rotary toolpath.
Post by: Hazeldene on July 02, 2017, 05:50:40 PM
Hi all, I've been using vcarve pro to produce rotary toolpaths, something's obviously not right in my setting's but I can't figure out what, if anyone can help me out I'd be grateful :D
Here are some pics, one is a preview in vcarve, the other is the toolpath in mach, thanks.

Check your generated Gcode - Does it contain a G90.1 or a G91.1 at the beginning ?

If it does not then change the IJ Mode in General Config. and then regen. toolpath.

Hi Tweakie, yes it Doe's contain G91.1, tried changing ij and regenning, sadly no difference, do you think it might be a Vectric issue ?

Actually, don't worry, I figured it out. In "Rotational" I unchecked "Rot 360 Rollover" .that did the trick ;D
Thanks for your help though.
