Title: Keyboard emulator - I am looking for more inputs
Post by: Chris D on June 19, 2017, 07:12:57 AM
Good morning all,

I am looking to add some addition operator controls to my CNC router.  I am running MACH3, UC100, BOB, on Windows 10 laptop.

On the older parallel port controlled machine, I used an IPAC and Keygrabber to add operator controls (joystick, buttons, etc.).

I see there is now a USB version of an IPAC, however, looking through the forums, I don't see many (if any) posts about using the USB IPACs.

Does this type of configuration still work?  If not, how is everyone adding additional Inputs for making operator panels?

Thanks much.

For about $40 more than the UC100, a UC300ETh would have given you 49 inputs.

Hi Ger,

From your response, I guess that the ipac / keygrabber combination no longer works?

Hi All,

Could someone confirm or deny that the Ipac USB / Keygrabber / Mach3 no longer works or, if it doest in fact work?

Thanks

Chris D.

I've never used it, but I'd assume that it does, as it's still included with the latest versions of Mach3.
