Hello everyone,
I am in the woodworking industry, and am considering using the Mach software for a CNC. The axis speeds are usually much faster in this industry then in the metalworking industry. Has anyone noticed missed pulses or uneven circles during a circular interpolated move? I know that Windows has time sharing issues with the serial and parallel ports, which is why it is generally not used for such machines unless it is a special version.
Maybe ArtSoft has found a work around for this?
Any replies will be appreciated. Thank you!

You will not have a problem with bad circles if you have a good machine to start with... The only problems that we have had like that is from Backlash or machine flex. Also please try the software first! You can run up to 500 lines of Gcode for free ;)

Thanks for the reply. I will be trying the system very soon.
