Title: Omron Smart Step
Post by: faby on June 20, 2007, 08:36:29 AM
Anyone has tryed this brushless servo + driver?

http://www.omron-ap.com/product_info/SMARTSTEP/index.asp

Thay say that it is simple to makes work as a stepper motor.
What do you think about it pretty cheap too.

Anyway, I'm looking for a servo system that doesn't need adjustment, there's something like that on the web?

Thanks for all

It should work. Most ac servo drives can be configured for step/direction, quadrature or analog inputs.
I use the delta servo drives. Check them out at www.delta.com.tw. They do have an agent in Europe.
