Title: MACH4 restartimg in the middle of post
Post by: Maginsky on March 16, 2017, 10:05:47 AM
I was in the middle of machining a small part on my CNC milll using MACH 4. Assuming everything is still set...can the sequence be started from where it left off? Or should I start from the beginning and let it machine air till it catches up?

Hi Maginsky,

Check out page 42 of the Mach4 Operation Manual:-  http://www.machsupport.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Mach4%20Operation%20Manual.pdf

Just play around with the method outlined in the above (on a trial part, at slow feed and with your hand over the E-Stop button). Also use the FEED HOLD button and check the DISTANCE TO GO VALUES on each axis, untill you are comfortable with it.

Nick.
