I thought it was gcode from photo carve so I tried one of the sample codes but still the same cleaned my discs thinking its a memory problem but still doing the same thing any ideas?
-
Have you got a properly licensed install of Mach??
In demo (unlicensed) there is a code limit.
-
I bought it from Automations tech and I cant figure out how to get to the license part to use it.I am not computer savy
-
I unzipped it and that's about it tried to open the file dat but was just told I couldn't open that
-
You should have a file with the name of mach1lic.dat - this is the license
shut mach down, browse to the mach folder - usually "C:/mach3" and copy the license file into that folder
restart mach3 and you details should now be shown in the title bar of the mach screen :)
-
I guess I'm too stupid to live I'm not sure how to do that
-
have you got the file "mach1lic.dat" ?
-
yes I do
-
OK,
right-click on it with your mouse and select "copy"
next go to "my computer" after clicking on the "start" button.
double-click on "C:\" - it should b there and will open showing some folders,
one of those folders should say "Mach3"
right-click on that folder and select "Paste"
that should be it.

thank you and God Bless

I wish I could buy you a drink you are super smart thanks again but one more thing now my z axis wont move up by jogging
-
will move down not up
-
Glad to help.
This next bit will be tricky without knowing the machine details.
Does it move at all when told to go up i.e. does it move down instead?
Or does it move down ok when told to go down but does nothing at all when told to go up?
