Title: Workshop + Automation

Hi all,
        I'm planning a new project ahead and would like some feed back from this forum. There's a possibility of converting our garage (5 by 8 meters) in to an automated workshop where it will produce small volume of parts and have those parts delivered to customer. Has anyone in this forum converted their garage to a semi or full automated metal workshop?

How much automation?

I know of users that have built bar-feeders for lathes, step-and-repeat saws etc but no one that has a fully automated production line.
