Title: techno isel refit
Post by: kaimaui on June 13, 2007, 03:07:19 PM
Hi I have a techno servo router with a dos based controle.
The machine it self an the elctronics work fine.
The controler also works but its a pain.
Does anybody hear have any experience converting one of these to run with mach3 or an older version.
I was hoping to be able to somehow interface with the aktual box rather then having to build a new one with gecko drives ore something like that.

at the moment I just want to no if anybody here has already done so or at least thought about it.

Thanks

KAI

You will need to put up pictures and more info about the servo drives the machine has.

I converted my Techno control to work of Mach3.  When I purchased my machine it did not come with any Techno control software or pc boards.  I established which wires controlled the step and direction for the motors and setup Mach3 to use the existing Techno controls and drives.  Recently I upgraded my system to Servo motors and Gecko 320  drives.  I will post some pictures in the future of my setup.
