Title: Setting up chinese cnc router

Im totally new to this so plz be patient
I bought one from ebay . Followed artsoft instructions as best i can and i dont think the pc and control box are communicating . In using itel celeron 2.4ghz pc with xp pro sp3
Driver check says excellent but axis motor wont move
Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

Have you contacted the seller about your problem?
Are you using a licensed version of MACH?
Have a good read of the Mach manuals and also watch the Mach vidoes.

Hi,

Have a look to see the parallel port is enabled in XP, and that the parallel port address in XP is the same as in Mach3, Config Menu - Ports & Pins - Port Setup (you would usually be using Port 1). See here

Cheers for the help lads its up and workin . Thnk problem may have been windows wasnt 32 bit . Mach 3was version supplied
Lookin fwd to gettin some stuff done now
