Title: problem with rec. hole pattern wiz. also
Post by: fourxfour2 on June 04, 2007, 05:50:01 PM
My problem.. I'm trying to put holes .500 apart so I set the wiz up for 15 holes wide and 92 long 1" deep And all I get in gcode is some .500 moves in Y but the X is moving in .01 to .20  to all differnt moves....  Is me or the wiz.
Attached is the Gcode from the Wiz

The code looks correct, note that the G81 is a modal command, and every X and Y following it drills another hole.

But it looks like you only made the X distance .5, so you got 92 holes in the first .5 inch. The wizard wants to know the total length and width of the hole pattern, not the distance between holes
