Hey Fellas,
Time being a factor, I wondered if there is anyone in the Los Angeles County area that may be willing to come over the house and help me get started on my engraving project.
Currently I am working with VCarve Pro for my designs (logos) & Mach 3 as my program for my 6040 CNC Chinese router.
Everything work, everything communicates, the thing is I would like a little hands on training before I screw anything up.
Please feel free to shoot me an email if interested.

I will pay you for your time for sure. Just anxious to get this going already.
BIG thanks

Its a bit too far for me to travel :)) I live in Norway,
my advice to you is watch lots of utube videos, and dont worry about screwing stuff up, we ALL do that
I learned so much from watching Utube CNC videos, I was able to build my own CNC without plans etc.
Good luck :)

Step 1: remove cutter, replace with some 1/8" PVC welding rod
Step 2: remove job from mill table
Step 3: make sure Z=0 is far enough up in the air
Step 5: load program
Step 6: check Program Limits on tool path screen, so you don't hit anything
Step 5: the big one: press Cycle Start
Repeat many times.
Cheers
Roger

Thanks guys.
I have been looking over YouTube and it has gotten me as far as I am now. Appreciate the advice.
Figured I would post something in case someone was local and of course interested.
Thanks again, the training continues. ;)
