I hope to get some help making the switch. I bought the Mill and its running ah-ha controls. I bought it from a gentleman and he was making beautiful parts and was going to help me with the learning curve but he passed 3 days after I purchased the Mill. The ah-ha is not very user friendly so I would like to get it running on Mach 3.
I have the owners manual with all the pin outs and that's were my knowledge ends. The computer that is running it is 20 years old and still uses windows 98 so Im going to load it with XP in a couple days once I receive the disc in a couple days....
I may be jumping the gun not having the computer ready and asking questions. I do have all the pin outs scanned to pdf if anyone would like them or can tell me how to post them to the thread..
Thanks In advance

Im not sure what to be looking for on the link unless you think I may need an adapter.. I may be wishful thinking but I hoping i can just configure the pins from mach 3 to the ah-ha pin out.

I don't think you will be able to just set ports and pins and connect to Mach.
I think the Ah-ha controllers use a board for the pulsing etc so you would need to hack into it quite a bit further back.
The ones I know that have done this usually ended up junking the Ah-ha drives and using Geckos or Leadshines, getting a breakout board and spindle controller etc and going from there.
