I have 4 KL-5056 drivers rated at 20-50VDC, 5.6A. Available current settings with their DIP switches are 3.2A, 3.8A, 4.3A, 4.9A, and 5.6A
My motors are KL23H2100-35-4B, rated voltage 2.55, current 3.5A
Which current setting should I choose on the drivers?

I would set your drivers to the nearest current setting without going over. so I think it would be 3.2.

I was thinking to use the setting you mentioned Charlie but I was able to contact the supplier and he said to use 3.8A. There is also a DIP switch (#4) which in position OFF supplies half the current and position ON supplies full current; he said that for axes Y,A,X to set this switch to OFF and for the Z axis to set it to ON. I will expirement with this settings over the weekend and post the results for the benefit of other members
Thanks for your timre
