I recently purchased a DDCM6V5.0 Breakout Board on EBay. before it arrived, I updated my system to 64-Bit. As Mach-3 will not run on a 64-Bit I plan to use Mach-4. However, the disk that came with the Breakout Board has all I need to run on Mach-3, but Mach-4. It seems I need a Plugin file that I dont have. Does anyone have this file? I am waiting to hear back from the Company I bought the board from, but am impatient. Thanks

That board will work OK with Mach3 (It is only the parallel port operation that will not work with 64 bit systems).
It is unlikely that a Mach4 plugin for that board will be available any time soon.

It is good to hear that the board will work with Mach3 from you (as well as the seller). So, How well will Mach3 run on a Win7 pro 64-Bit system?

I have mach3 running under Win 7 pro no problems there, but I did have problems with that board from eBay and had to return for refund as it was faulty and supplied disk infected my system with a Trojan. So check the disk carefully and do not worry you can return it for a refund purely on the grounds they all tend to ship this board with counterfeit software, if anything like one supplied to me containing nasty surprises.

I know I can run the Mach3 software on Win7 Pro 32-bit. But as I said in my first post, I upgraded my system to 64-bit. And the Mach3 page reads like it will not run properly on a 64-bit system. Or is that only if I an using a Parallel port, instead of the USB port I plan on using.

it's as Tweakie Said parallel port needs a 32 bit computer up to win 7. 8 and up needs a external controller

OK then, I should be good to go. I'll post the results after I try it out.

I am having communication issues with the seller. Language barrier and all. The DDCM6V board I bought has different labels for its terminals. No surprise there.
So What do the following labels stand for? S 0 : S 1 : S 2 : S 3 : Z_Se : Y_Se : X_Se :
