Title: Requirements parallel port

Hello,

Is there a possibilty to check in advance, whether the parallel port of an old notebook is suitable however? My CNC 3040 is on its way, and I'm wondering if there are some parameters, maybe vivible in the system controls, which I could check before ordering a PCMCIA card.

I doubt it, however, install Mach3 then run the DriverTest and see what results you get - you may be lucky.
