Title: Use Hicon Integra to drive +/-10 VDC Servo Amplifiers
Post by: StepDIR on April 06, 2016, 06:33:41 PM
I would like to use the Hicon Integra to drive existing +/-10VDC servo amplifiers.   Does anyone know of a solution to take step/dir and convert to +/- 10 VDC?

I want to use the Hicon Integra now because  I plan to upgrade to AC servo motors in the future.

Thanks,
Jay

Hello Jay,

Although the HiCON Integra cannot be used for +/-10V axis control, we do have another motion controller that can.

Here is a link to the DSPMC webpage. It can drive +/-10V (analog), step-dir (digital), and EtherCAT drives. EtherCAT is still in the works though.

Hope this helps.
