Title: use mill as a lathe with Lazyturn
Post by: jc2010 on March 24, 2016, 05:09:21 PM
Does anyone have any info on how to use lazyturn to use a mill as a lathe, particularly to setup locations of different tools on the bed?
I have a taig mill running mach3. Have been wanting to do this for a few years now. maybe it's time! thanks fellas

Not that I am aware of. Guess you could manipulate / modify LT's generated code. Would need to play around to find any problems.
First thought would be to use the lathe screen so that you could  make use of the tool table for the offsets. Like I said would need to think about it
and play around.

Have fun,
