Title: jog keys overrun
Post by: sculler on February 16, 2016, 07:01:03 AM
Hi using the jog keys to set an origin on my second hand gerber. I find that the machine continues travelling (decelerating) along the X or Y when I have stopped pressing the arrow keys. How do I stop this happening as it makes setting a consistent origin almost impossible?  I have no home switches so cannot us an offset. Many thanks

It sounds as though your Acceleration settings are too low (Config / Motor Tuning).

Use MDI to make the machine move where you want it.

Also in the past I've experienced stuck keyboard keys.  that's annoying.

I agree with Tweakie. Probably room for adjustment there.

You can also use the Jog Increments of 1,.01, .01, ..001 once you get near to your destination.
