Title: Using mach 3, trucut, and an oxy fuel torch.
Post by: johnhayhurst2341 on December 23, 2015, 09:45:12 AM
Hello all. I have a trucut machine with mach 3. I have been previously using a hypertherm 85 to cut and it has been working fine but i have recently put a oxy fuel torch on the gantry but to be quite honest i have no idea how to operate it. Im fairly new to the cnc world and if anyone could help me get this thing up and running it would be much appreciated.

It works in the same manner that the plasma unit did. The main difference is you must do a preheat cycle before cutting starts. That is normally all programmed by the CAM program.

I tinkered with it and got it to work eventually. Thank you

I am very new to building cnc plasma table , although i have ran Messers titan version productively . My real question here has anyone seen any videos of setting up a oxy fuel setup with mach.
