Title: Different feed rate
Post by: AndersL on December 03, 2015, 04:56:08 AM
HI

Is it possible to have different feed rate in Mach3? One feed rate for cutting and one for moving spindle to next shape.

I mill very small parts in carbon fiber and cut with 50 mm/min and and wish to have a higher feed rate beetween the shapes.

I use a china machine CNC 3040 and CamBam CAM

I am sure the Mach3 Manual can explain it a lot better than me http://www.machsupport.com/help-learning/product-manuals/

However...

There are G00 rapid moves and there are G01 (G02,G03 etc.) feed-rate moves. The post-processor of the CAD/CAM software you are using (CamBam) should sort all this out for you automatically.
