Title: Slave axis not slaving when running g-code.
Post by: macr on September 11, 2015, 12:10:43 PM
I have my A axis slaved to my X axis and they jog together just fine but when I run g-code the A axis does not move with the X axis. If I stop the code and start it again from where it is at then they move together for the rest of the program, strange. I have done a lot of searching and haven't found a solution yet, any ideas?

Thanks
Bradley

I ended up taking M3 out of the beginning of the g-code and the slave axis worked correctly, I put it back in and then went to the spindle setup and disabled spindle relays and the slave axis worked. I am not sure what the spindle has to do with the slave axis but it's working for now.

sounds like you're using the same pin for the A axis step and the spindle relay.
