Post by: jokernippe on September 08, 2015, 04:10:53 AM
Hi,

I have tried to put Mach3 to Win7 but i get this all the time: Limit Switsh Triggered...

Why? I have the same settings that i have on WinXP

Thanks!

Thomas,
I have Mach3 running on 32 Bit Windows 7 and it works faultlessly so it's almost certain to be something in your config or hardware that's causing your problem, I did find that copying across my xml config file didn't transfer all my settings for some reason but once manually entered, including some I'd forgotten about, it's all working perfectly
Have you checked your de-bounce timing is the same as it used to be?
Regards,
Nick

Hi,

I'm new with this but so much I know that I have exactly the same settings on the both computers.

XP works okay and Win 7 not.

Thanks!

Given that that Mach3 works fine with Windows 7 (I have it running here, now, on a PC not three feet away) we can safely say that it's not Mach3 and it's not Windows 7 ;-)
So if it's not your Mach3 settings that leaves just your Windows 7 install, how you're using it and your PC hardware.

My working Mach3 on Windows 7 is a clean build with just the default user account, all service pack and security updates applied prior to installing and configuring any software with all installations using the "Run As Administrator" option.
