Title: I can't scale any more
Post by: masons forge on September 04, 2015, 09:54:16 AM
I'm running Mach3 and I have always been able to scale up or down by changing the values of the X-Y from 1.000 to what I need, until yesterday. I think I have hit a hot key to turn off scaling because on the second screen tab I see the label Scaling Off G50 beside the XYZ display. I'm using it to run a plasma cutter and I don't have a DTHC so I think I hit a button while babysitting the height. Please let me know iff you need more information to help with this problem. Thank you in advance.

Perhaps check that you do not have G50 in the Initialization String (Config / General Config) and also check that there is not a G50 in the Gcode file you are running.

I'll check but it is the same code I have been scaling the same way for a year.
Thank you for responding

All that button does is reset the scale back to 1. You never said what happens when you try to set scale. You click on the dro and input a number then press enter. What happens next ?? if nothing are you entering in the number from the numpad ?? is numlock off?

It won't let me highlight the field at all. I'll see if I can get a screenshot tomorrow

Hey BR549
My number pad was off and I freaked before I checked the obvious. I use the scale feature to cut different size butterflies from the same code. Sorry for my panic.
Thank you for the help.

Glad you got it sorted, I use scale a lot myself.
