The license file is mailed as a .zip file. You need to unzip it then in the Help screen point to the .txt file that was in the zip

I finaly got the license installed on mill wizard. I erased mill wizard and redownloaded onto the zip drive. When i loaded the programs on the other computer i just draged the programs off of the zip drive to desktop and it worked just fine.

I had my girlfriend installing the stuff before. It was all her fault.

Hello gentlemen,
I am trying to load the mill wizard files as well.
Reading you're solution to the issue, hopefully will help me load my license.
Let me ask you something.
I have purchased a used Xp desktop, that already had computer name.
When I purchased my license I have submitted that ID which is made from 3 letters.
Question is, is the PCID case sensitive?
The truth is I have find the name at two places in properties. One starts with upper case the other with lower case.
The demo license shows some PCID already. How can I verify the right ID ?
Thanks for your support.
Frank

I do not understand your question. The PCID is generated by the wizard software and displayed in the Help->About box. It has nothing to do with the PCs name. It must be copied exactly as show and sent to the license screen on the machsupport.com web site.

When you are running in demo mode there is no license installed. The About screen will show the PCID for that machine and is the PCID that must be given to the license screen.

Thank you for the quick response.

I have misunderstand the meaning of the PCID. I am already using the second license, unfortunately with the wrong PCID as well.
I will try to deactivate this one and submit a new request with the right ID.
One more question.
can I, use mill wizard on my computer that do not run the licensed Mach3 ? The reason for that is, it would be more convenience to generate part programs away from the machine location (basement).
Thank you for your help.
Frank

We need to be clear which wizard we are talking about. The one call Addons for Mach3 are scripts that can only run on mach3. The set called NFSMill are standalone programs that can run on any PC and have no connection to Mach3 or Mach4.

The Addons for Mach3 require a license, but do not use a PCID. The license will work on any PC and can be used on more than one PC for hobby use.

The NFSMill program has a PCID and is locked to run on only one PC. It can run in demo mode on any PC and can save a job file, but not gcode.

It is the stand alone mill wizard.
It will be installed on a computer with Windows 10.
Hope will be able to change PCID one more time.
Thanks again.

Good to hear. Let me know how you get on with the new polygon and polyline functions. The polyline is very powerful, but the data entry can be a challenge. I am trying to come up with a better input scheme. Tap cycles are almost complete for a new release in a month or so.

Ron,
How can I expend the choice of selection of text fonts?
There are two to choose from when engraving.

There are a few more available from http://ncplot.com/stickfont/stickfont.htm

This is an old Borland font from many years ago.
