Title: Exact stop issue with small circles
Post by: arasbm on June 16, 2015, 06:22:13 PM
I am trying to use the exact stop mode in Mach3 so I can cut faster (at around 350ipm) without rounding the corners. The problem is when I do that small circles are triggering exact stop several times and as a result the torch jitters when cutting holes smaller that 1/2 inch or so. Other than this issue exact stop mode seems to work very well. Does anyone know if there is any way to prevent stop on small holes? Is there a threshold setting somewhere that would define how sharp of an angle would trigger a stop?

Just a guess here but you could try turning CV mode back on but also set "stop CV on angles>" to 89 degrees, hopefully that will give you smooth circles AND stop on corners.
