I have read the manual and can't fine how to use the GOTO button.
I have gotten to the point, hit the GOTO button, touch a axis, type in location, what is next?
-
the goto button is useley for going to your work zero`s x0. y0, z0, (a0 if its in there)work zero is what you are cutting, its what you set after homing the machine
-
No, there is a GOTO Home, and there is GOTO, you hit it it lights up, you touch a axis and add a location (say 1.5)
-
Dyslexic, TOGO, sorry.
-

-
togo is how far to go too machine zero
-
It is on the main screen
-

ToGo, as has been said above , displays the distance left to go on the commanded move.
For example if you are at x0 y0 and you have NOT pressed the ToGo button, if you command a move to X10 Y10 then you will see the X and Y DRO count up to 10 as they approach the target location.
If however you have the ToGo button pressed then the DROs will start at 10 and count down to 0 as they move towards the commanded position, in other words they are showing the distance left to go as they aproach the commanded position.
