Does your PC have, as minimum requirement …

•   1Ghz CPU
•   512MB RAM
•   Non-integrated Video Card with 32MB RAM(Large G-code files, especially 3D files will require a video card with 512MB RAM or higher)

Well, all I can suggest is that your PC is either running background tasks or something but it seems that particular PC is not up to running Mach3 within Windows XP as it stands.

Excuse me but I didn't understand you very well!
I have format it 3 times and again reinstall the software, but didn't help!
Really I can't know what to do!
On my windows I didn't have any software, any game, any things! Just Mach3!

Sorry, I do appreciate the language differences.

Mach3 (in particular the parallel port driver) takes liberties with the Windows operating system and some PC's just can't handle it. My best advice is to try another PC.

I would do a clean reinstall of Windows XP first and see if the problem goes away before installing Mach 3. Sounds like a corrupt OS and not a Mach 3 problem. It could be possible the copy of Windows XP you are installing is corrupt. XP is probably the most stable OS MicroSoft ever developed.

I agree with geh7552 you need to determine that XP is running well on the PC before worrying about Mach3. Do a clean install of XP, don't add any other programs at all, and make sure windows XP works well. Once everything is Ok we can help you with any issues with the Mach3 software.
Good luck

Hey guys, really thanks for your help about my problem, yeah geh7552 my windows it's not a licensed version I think, but are you sure that I need a licensed version of windows?

Because I think to bay another new PC with windows 2000,
I didn't know if 2000 will be more effectively than xp, what you say man?

Thanks so much!
Best regards!

Not sure if Windows 2000 will work. Windows 2000 is one step up from Windows 98 and may not work with Mach 3 plug-ins and stepper drivers. I know Win98 and 2000 have USB limitations as well.

Most if not all pirate (unlicensed) XP OS use a "crack utility" to unlock the OS so it's a good possibility not all of the OS is being loaded properly. Especially if it's happening on two separate pc's and the only common denominator is the same OS being loaded on both. Ebay has tons of cheap XP computers and XP OS disks with a license.

So you say do not to change to 2000, just to stay with Xp but with licensed version? Like that I have understood..

W2K will work fine with Mach3. It is NOT  even close to W98. USB works fine as well. The only difference in W2K is you have to manually disconnect the USB before removing it from the system.

Try 2000 and see if it works if you have a licensed copy. If its a bogus copy like the XP you have it may end up with the same results. IMO It's really a no brainer to go with licensed copy of XP instead of 2000 OS. There are a number of OS improvements over 2000. XP is readily available on Ebay for low cost. Do a clean install and move on.... it's not rocket science.

I would also suggest getting all the updates installed in either operating system, before you load Mach.

So you've switched to a licensed copy of windoze yet? C'mon dude you can't be running hooky software and then complain it doesn't work. You get what you pay for right?

Bar553, did you mean the updates of Windows?
Stirling, excuse me man but I didn't understood you! But I didn't switched yet to a licensed version, now I thinking about the SCHP! What you think man?

Yes Windows updates.  XP is not being developed so there is a limited number, but where ever you load from it's probably not the last one.  Same for any other drivers that you are using video cards Parallel port etc.  I was having hell, updated everything that had a driver and it worked fine.........  I agree with the rest of the group,  your time is worth more than an XP license would be..........

wakedabed,

I have a question for you and want an answer.

Hopefully I have read this thread correctly. You are running bootleg software and having problems
and then asking the kind folks in here to help you fix things.

SO the question is:

WHY?

RICH

No sure what bar553 really means... Seems the response is totally frigg'in irreverent to the topic.  Listen... running pirate software has its risks including loading viruses and malware. Almost all illegal software has some sort of "payloads" of crap code to infect a system. There is no free rides my friend.

Go ahead and run a bogus version of XP or Win2000 and hope for the best.... but don't post here looking for help when things don't work. You already stated on a public forum you are using a pirated copy of XP... pretty stupid on your part. Now you want help because your OS is corrupt and Mach 3 doesn't work. Do us a favor and buy a legal copy of the OS & mach 3 (like the rest of us) and try again. If not go away.

I have no idea what an SCHP is. Maybe you should stop trying to do an impression of Cheech and Chong and buy a XP license and move on. TBH I'm really not comfortable that you're getting help here on the forum when you openly admit to using pirate software.

I have just re-read this thread and realized that when I made my above post I'd missed seeing page 3 entirely.

@wakedabed - I see that a couple of people have quite rightly told you you need to get rid of your pirated software or go somewhere else for help. I see also that you've basically just ignored them.

Here's how it's going to work. I'm going to lock this thread and the next time you post I expect you to tell us you've bought a Windows license.
