Title: 3040 cnc engraver / router

any of you chaps using mach3 to run one of these 3 axis chinese machines? if so are you using usb converter successfully. Are there any tricks to the setting up?

I am. I have a 6040 machine and using a uc100 plugin  What problems are you haveing

actually I bought a really old ace travelmate 290 (OS in russian!)
i have just reinstalled english XP and its running router no probs. test program gave results as "excellent"
took me about 20 mins to set up the config. No changes to laptop config were required.

I have just purchased the 6040 machine and UC100 just came in today.  So far I am not able to get anything working. Bhohbein, how did you do it?
