Title: Problem loading G-code for testing DIY Machine
Post by: rskincade on February 23, 2015, 03:48:29 PM
I am able to load the Mach3 demo G-code (e.g., scorpion.tap) and test out my new CNC machine (DIY machine). However, I've been unable to load my own G-code (derived from inkscape to lazycam). I can see the image (3 initials - letters) in lazycam, but only a small fraction of the G-code uploads to Mach3. Sometimes, I get a series of circles appearing instead of the image. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a Mach license?
Both Lazycam and Mach have restictions on the number of lines in demo.

I haven't purchased the license,  yet.  I am prepared to do so, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong on my end.
Thanks for the advice. I will follow-up after I purchase the license and see if this solves the problem.

Rich,
Follow-up. You were right. Once I installed the license, my G-codes loaded correctly. Thank you for the help.
