Hello,
Anyone have any problems with getting their CSMIO/IP-A to connect?
I have the latest version of Mach 4 and the latest Plugin for the Control card. I ran down through the set up procedure in the Cs Lab setup guide still no luck.
I'm connecting direct to my computer with a crossover cable.
I've disabled my firewall.
I've set up the correct I.P. and Mask Addresses.
I'm running windows 7 and it's not Genuine (hope this isn't a problem ;))
When I change the TCP/Ipv4 settings and start the CS Labs board my Local Area Connection's status changes to "device unrecognized" (or something to that effect)...
Any help would be much appreciated!
Best

are you able to ping the CSMIO ?

Thomas,
The ping test was successful. 4 packets sent 4 received 0 lost.
The csmos blinked 4 times.
Bear in mind this was my first ping test, I did it from cmd.

Have you got both parts of the plugin in the plugins folder?

Alright I got it going.
I didn't have the correct plugins installed I had "_C" instead of "_A". I looked to make sure I had both plugins in the folder and that's when I noticed, Thanks Hood!
Thanks for the pinging information Thomas!
I should be wiring up my machine sometime this week I'll keep you guys posted.
Thanks again, I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Hi Jun,
ping in a cmd is ok.
dont know your network, if there is no dhcp server the CSMIO
has normaly 10.1.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 just make sure that you (pc) is in the same
network.
check your ip by CMD -> IPCONFIG
