Hi everyone.
Fairly new to Mach and (hobby) CNC, so excuse the question. I did search for previous posts, but only found a few and they didn't really help
with my problem.
I have the 'Auto Zero' checked, in Homing/Limits but they don't work!
I have just three DRO's (X,Y and Z) on my custom screenset. However, I have swapped to the default 1024.set and the Auto Zero doesn't work
on that either.
What am I doing wrong?

What exactly are you trying to do?
The "Auto Tool Zero" button and the "Auto Zero" option in the Homing/Limits screen are two separate things.
If you're trying to Auto Zero the Z axis, then you need to add an auto zero script to the button. The default button does nothing.

Auto the DRO's to zero after a Ref Home. It used to work fine, but quite a while ago, as I have been away from this for some time.
I've also had to reconfigure the machine but the same settings have been used.
So irrespective of what the DRO's show, after a Ref Home (either individual or all axis), when this setting in Homing/Limits is checked, it
should, automatically zero!
At least it used to do that a while ago!

It zeroes the machine coordinates.
If you have any offsets entered, they will display the offsets, rather than zero's.

It will Zero the Machine Coords but not necessarily the work coords as you may have an offset in force.
If you RefAll Home then press the Machine Coords button they should be zero, if they are other than zero then you will likely have a Home Off value set in Homing and Limits.
If you want your work coords also reading zero when at the home position then all you need to do is zero the DROs.
