Title: Setting spindle speed

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but just could not find this...

I have a spindle controlled by mach 3 through a VFD, which works fine. I want to be able to start the spindle from a pendant (xbox controller) But I cant figure out how to do this without typing in a spindle speed via the keyboard. Once I have typed a speed in it can be varied from the pendant and stopped and started. But I dont want to have to do this every time. Can anyone help please?

You might try putting S500 in the Initialization String on the Gen Config page.
Then, whenever you start up there will be an S value entered.
Proceed with caution.
