Title: General Logic Configuration- Tool Change

Stop Spindle Wait For Start-  I have been cutting with Mach lll for a year or so and have never needed to change tools.  Now I need to change multiple times.  I have ordered a MuscleChuck.  I do not have a automatic tool changer and will change tools manually.  Under General Logic Configuration I want to select stop spindle wait for start.  I know that stops the spindle and then waits for me to tell the system to start again after I change the tool.  Since all of my work is flat panel I don't have home switches.  I just manually zero the machine.  I am using VCarve Pro and will set my post processor to General ATC or Mach lll ATC so the tool changes will be in the g code for Mach lll to recognize.  Two main questions, when the spindle stops how do I make it go somewhere safe and convenient to change the tool (I have never written any g code), and then how to I re-zero the tool.

I know every question is answered here somewhere.  I just couldn't find it.  Thank you.

get the 2010 screenset it has what you whant in the macros that come with it.
