Title: Output issue
Post by: Flipz01 on April 04, 2007, 03:47:01 PM
I have outputs on port #1 on pins #1, 2, 9, 14, 16, & 17.  They are all set up active high except #2 which is reverse polarity (active low).

I have # 14, 16, & 17 set up with touchscreen buttons - they work just fine.

I have #1, 2, & 9 set up as enable switches, so each should toggle when I hit the reset button.  However, #1 won't go high - anybody have a clue why that might be?

I'm not certain but this may have something to do with it. Bottom left corner of general config.

Check with a meter at the port.. that is strange to have all others work and one not.

I made a breakout circuit board similar to those sold by others on this site, but taylored to our needs.  I can turn on the outputs, and easily measure the changes on the exposed pins - in this case, the lead end of a resistor.

All work but #1.

Sounds to me like you have a prots and pins settings that are not right OR you have a bad pin :(

As always - the last thing you'd expect.

The cable had a pin that was present, but broken off internally.
