Installed Mill Wizard and when i try to run the program (C:\program files\NFS_mill\NFS_mill.exe) I get the error ""This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"
So I tried the suggestion as presented by the error window was to re-install the program but that didn't fix it.
I have installed this program on an WinXP machine 32 bit.
Any ideas as to why this program won't run? Doesn't run on XP?
Thanks,
Bruce

Ok so maybe I should try and run it as administrator and see if that works.
-
I think this was recently posted as a missing Microsoft dll, but of course I dont recall which one. Let me look for it

Thank you..because I tried running as admin and that didn't work.

Still looking for an answer to this error when trying to run this mill wizard for first time. Anybody know which .dll that may be missing and
keeping mill wizard from working the first time?
-
Is there any update in this missing .dll file?
I have the same problem and can't get it to run unter a fresh Windows XP SP3 installation with the same error message.

Sorry I have not answered this sooner.
I think it is the Microsoft redistributable package. see http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29 for the download for 32bit systems.

Ron, you are my hero :-)
After installation of the program you send the link, it is working.
Thank you very much.

I also had the same error problem that HOJO had. I install the software from that link above and it allowed me to get that error to pass. But now I have another one that reads "Entry point not found" "The proceedure entry point GetlogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."
I appreciate the help.

deuce217,
I got past the KERNEL32.dll error by installing Service Pack 3 for Windows.
It was a bit difficult to get Service Pack 3 though because Microsoft does not officially support XP anymore. I found this link to download SP3 from Microsoft's website here: http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/software/svpk/2008/04/windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu_c81472f7eeea2eca421e116cd4c03e2300ebfde4.exe
Once downloaded, install and it should start up. It did for me at the least.
