Hi,
I'm encountering some problem with my cnc coverted lathe after replacing the C11G to C10 + C6. The CW, CCw, and spindle start worked fine, but when executing the program generated from Visual Turn the tool tips moves away from the stock and start the cut, not sure why is it doing that?. The offset is exactly the same distance of the cut.

need help.

On a lathe Z0 is normally the end of the stock like you have set but then all cutting Z moves are then a negative value, yours seem to be positive. If you set the end of the stock to the most positive value in your code (Z0.7639?) then it would work. However it is probably best to get the code sorted correctly as per normal convention.

Hi Hood,
Is sorted, wrong post-processor. The one on video was in Inch, it is now in Metric.
thanks

I'm back, it is acting weird again. >:(
Here is the code and Visual turn file: open attachment.
The tool tip moves 54.985 in the Z plus direction...ARRRG

compare to Turn2-b.vtp, this file worked out ok.
In Mach3 Turn, is there a MDI so that I can return X and Z to 0,0 co-ordinates instean of using arrow jog?
thanks,

Updates:
I found out when generate gcode from the cnc lathe computer the results = 4-A.vtp which cause Z to run in the opposite direction. With the same VT file--->generate gcode from another computer nearby the result was ok. The PC nearby is slightly newer with better cpu where as the cnc lathe's pc is slightly older board(ITX form), and another thing with Visual Turn installed in cnc lathe's PC Mach3 turn is interfered, Z axis Dc motor tweaks.
