Title: USB to Parallel adapter

Hey Everyone

I want to get a new computer to run my mach 3 from, and I have to add a parallel port, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience using the USB to Parallel adapter.

Also, Does Mach 3 run on Windows 8?

USB to parallel adapters do not work.

Mach3 will run on Windows 8, but the parallel port driver will not run in Windows 8.

If you want to use Windows 8, you'll need an external motion controller like the UC-100 or Smoothstepper, or one of the many others available.
