I was wondering if anyone has made a Plugin for the Microkinetics MN400 Controller?
Would like to use the controller I have but willing to switch to a breakout board.
If No plugin is Available anyone recommend a Breakout Board?
Will be using the Microkinetics Drive Rack With the DR8010 Drivers?

I have never heard of a plugin for that controller I am afraid.
What exactly does it consist of and how does it connect to the computer? What I am getting at is, is it connected via the parallel port or is it a PCI card or USB or possibly Ethernet?

It connects via USB or Serial... http://www.microkinetics.com/index.php?page=motionc
I am seriously thinking of just getting a breakout board and wiring it up to simplify things.
Any recommendations on a breakout board I will need 3-axis ?

Ok, you would definitely need a plugin to use the original hardware in that case.
Regarding a breakout board, I always used to use PMDX breakouts, they are excellent quality and have never heard of anyone with a problem.

There used to be a SDK on the Artsoft site but not sure where on the new site it is located.
There is a plugin section on the forum, you may get help there.
You will find it here
