Title: z axis sometime moves the wrong way

my z axis moves the wrong way sometimes.  x and y are ok

It happens in a program and when I use the manual pendent on the screen.

I mouse click in the arrow u it goes down I mouse click on it again it goes up.

I'm not sure were to look I have checked for loose wires but no luck so far.

Sounds like a Dir wire not making correct contact or possibly a fault in the hardware.
You say however you can not find a loose wire so if you attach your xml I will have a look through that to see if I can find an issue with your Mach config.
