Title: Disable Z axis
Post by: nzlowie on September 21, 2014, 06:48:03 AM
Hi all
I use Mach3 to control a CNC sewing machine with the tool path (Sewing directions) written with Vcarve.

Is there a way I can forget abut the Z axis? At this stage I have to just set a single cut depth and do one pass, it has delays where its driving the Z to safe Z and then back to the requested cut depth. Would be easier just to forget about Z....

Thanks Dave

Goto config>safe z and disable with the check box at the top of the window.

Cool, I'll have a look when I get back home.

Thanks
