Title: 4130 tractor connecting rods

   i made these out of 4130 cromemoly billet for dads pulling tractor,mach 3 and g100 didnt let me down.

Great work patrick.
Is the underside beveled too? or was it just machined from one side?

   I MACHINED THE .100 RELEIF FROM BOTH SIDES THE HARDEST PART WAS THE CAP,THE  DRILL ,C-BORE, REAM, TAP ,SKIM MATING SURFACES FLAT ETC,  I BOLTED ROD TO ANGLE PLATE TO CUT 22 DEG ANGLE AND CLAMPED CAP
AGAINST ANGLE PLATE BEFORE THE DRILLING ETC.MACH 3 CUTS PRETTY NICE CIRCLES BOT I FINISHED BIG AND SMALL
HOLES WITH BORING BAR

Beats buying some, and probably a lot stronger than bought ones too.
