In the little window that shows where the head of my cnc machine is, if the window shows lower left, the head is in the upper right. Everything else works - I've been using the machine for years with Mach3 - I just wondered if this little quirk can be corrected.
Also, this topic has had to have been brought up many times but my search for "reverse preview window" "reverse graphic" "opposite graphic" turned up very little and unrelated info. If anyone does a search that finds the answer, I'd love to know how you searched.
Thanks

You've been running your machine backwards for years.

I suppose so. Is the solution to reverse the x and y direction and re-setup the machine? Was just wondering if there was a quick solution.
-
Actually, I'm not so sure I'm running in opposite mode... Check out the attached pic.
You can see that the machine thinks it's at 0,0 and it is. If I turn my computer around 180degrees on the table, it would match the machine.
I'm just wondering if I can do that 180 degree turn on the display instead of physically or does 0,0 in Mach 3 always have to be bottom left. If so, I guess I wont ever match the machine. I dunno...

No, 0,0 is always bottom left in Mach3.
-
Well that's that I guess.

I had the same "problem" with my router and once I started thinking in terms of which way the tool moves in relation to the work, all was good.:)
