Title: Need Help With Spindle Settings.
Post by: Stevos758 on June 10, 2014, 10:11:11 AM
My hard drive crashed and I lost all of my settings. I need help getting it set back up.

Machine is a X6 1500GT USB controlled CNC.

My spindle turns on and spins in the right direction but the speed is reverses. In mach 3 when I input 24000 rpm the spindle goes to the min of 5000 rpm. When the spindle is set for 0 rpm the actual spindle runs at max speed of 24000 rpm.

Not sure what controller you have but if you attach your xml I will see if I can find an issue.

I just looked in the xml to get the device name and it says Xulifeng, did a google and got a manual. It says PWM frequ to be set to somewhere between 1 and 60KHz, you have 4166KHz, try setting that lower and see if that helps.

Ok. I'll look into that when I get home. thanks! Can I just use the settings below in my XML?

The min recommended VFD speed is 83.3 which is supposed to equal 5000 RPM and the upper limit is supposed to be 400.

Nevermind I found it in the ports and pins config. The manual states it automatically adjusts to what it needs. Ill try 60 and wee what happens.

I don't think this will solve my issue as I had it set at 4166 last time.
