Title: True 45 Degree angles on XY axis

I am a new user of Mach 3 and am having trouble getting a true 45 degree movement on my XY axis. Am I missing
something..... Please help......

What do you mean? Are you having the controller move a certain distance and then manually measuring the actual movement? What is the commanded movement? What were the actual measurements?

Thank you for your response..... When we tell the XY axis to travel a certain distance at a 45 degree angle the angle is actualy coming out at 43.8. Is there an adjustment in the Config file or somewhere that we can correct this.... or to check. Thank you in advance.......

do you have back lash in the x and/or  y axis

is the cutter running off before the end of the angle

If you make straight cuts in X or Y, are they then correct?

Is your machine 'trued up' properly?
