Title: Multiple G-Codes on Mach3
Post by: craigdlm on May 01, 2014, 07:07:56 AM
Can I load and run multiple G-Code files into Mach3? I need to profile a hole then pocket finish it to 19mm but can't see any way to program that in V Carve. I tried 2 different toolpaths, setting the pocket cut with a 5.5mm cutter and then the profile to a 5mm cutter (which is it's size) but post processor I use (Mach2/3 Arcs (mm)) doesn't let me use multiple 'tools'. So I can generate as single G-Code files but I can't see any way to load multiple files?

I've just found the wonder of pocket allowance! However, the question still stands about multiple codes!

When saving toolpaths, select all of the generated ones and check "Output all visible toolpaths to one file" checkbox.

Use one of the Mach3 ATC posts, and you can output multiple toolpaths with different tools.

NO only 1 Gcode program per load. NOW you can stack up serveral files in 1 program BUT you have to delete out any mid file M30,m20,etc as those will stop the file at that point.
